Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated

1. Cancelling

Pro ($9.99 per month or $99 per year) renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, online, in a few clicks:

  1. Sign in and open Settings → Billing.
  2. Click “Manage billing” to open the Stripe billing portal.
  3. Choose “Cancel subscription” and confirm.

If anything gets in the way, email [email protected] from the address you sign in with and we’ll cancel it for you. You’ll get a confirmation from Stripe once it’s cancelled.

When you cancel, the subscription won’t renew again. You keep Pro until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for; then the code, downloads and MCP lock. Code you got while subscribed stays licensed to you, as the Code License describes. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription by itself, so cancel first.

2. Refunds

Pro gives you instant access to digital content: the full source code of every design, as soon as payment goes through. Code can’t be “returned” once it’s been seen or downloaded, so payments are non-refundable, including for partly used periods, except where this policy or the law says otherwise. Cancelling stops future charges but doesn’t refund the current period.

We will always refund:

  • a duplicate charge, or a charge made after you cancelled because of an error on our side;
  • the unused part of a prepaid period if we close your account without cause, or stop offering Pro;
  • wherever the law where you live requires a refund.

3. Goodwill refund on yearly plans

If you start a yearly plan and it isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of your first yearly payment. If you’ve downloaded or fetched the code of no more than 5 designs in that time, we’ll refund the yearly payment in full and end your Pro access. This applies once per person, to a first yearly payment (not a renewal or monthly payments), and not where we see signs of abuse such as bulk downloading. Any code you got stays under the Code License’s restrictions, but the perpetual license in its Section 3 doesn’t apply to a refunded period: stop using that code in new work.

4. EU and UK customers: the right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that isn’t supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once supply begins, if you have expressly asked for it to start straight away and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal.

At checkout, by subscribing you ask us to give you access to Pro’s digital content immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access begins.

Nothing in this policy limits any other rights you have under consumer law where you live.

5. Price changes

If we change Pro’s price, we email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, at your next renewal. To avoid it, cancel before that renewal.

6. Problems with a charge

If a charge looks wrong, please email [email protected] first. We’ll sort it out quickly. Disputing a valid charge with your bank instead may lead us to suspend the account while the dispute is open.
